COOKIE POLICY
Cookies, analytics, advertising and user controls across our websites

Legal entity: Niora Foods Pty Ltd
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Contact: info@niorafoods.com.au

This policy explains the website technologies used across the Niora Foods website and our brand websites and online stores to operate them, understand performance and support advertising.

Niora Foods Pty Ltd is an Australian food business and the owner and operator of the Maleny Cuisine brand and any other brands we operate from time to time. In this policy, "Niora Foods", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Niora Foods Pty Ltd, including when we act through any of our brands.

This policy applies to all websites and online stores operated by Niora Foods and its brands. A brand website may also publish its own cookie policy with details specific to that website. Where it does, that information applies to that website and this policy applies to everything else.

1. Relationship with our Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy should be read with the Niora Foods Privacy Policy and any privacy policy published on the relevant brand website. Where cookie or device data identifies or can reasonably identify an individual, we handle it as personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. We may also use pixels, tags, software development tools, local storage, session storage and similar technologies. Some are set by us and others by service providers whose tools are used on our websites.

3. Categories we may use

Strictly necessary
These support security, fraud prevention, shopping carts, checkout, payment, session management, load balancing, customer and trade account logins and other customer-requested features. Our websites may not function properly without them.

Preferences and functionality
These remember choices such as region, account settings, forms, display preferences and previous interactions.

Analytics and performance
These help measure traffic, page performance, product interest, navigation and errors so we can improve our websites and customer experience. Information may be aggregated or linked with other information held by the provider.

Advertising and social media
These may help measure campaigns, limit repeated advertising, build audiences and show more relevant advertising on services such as Google, Meta or other enabled platforms. Social-media features may also collect information when a user interacts with them.

4. Consent and controls

Where required, we will request consent before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies. A user may be able to accept, reject or adjust categories through the cookie controls offered on the relevant website. Cookie controls may differ between our websites depending on the platform each one uses. Consent choices should be as easy to withdraw as they are to give.

Browser and device settings can also block, delete or limit cookies. Advertising preferences may be available directly from relevant providers. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent checkout, login or other requested functions from working.

5. Third-party providers

Depending on the tools enabled on each website from time to time, providers may include our e-commerce and website platforms, payment providers, Google, Meta, email and customer-service providers, fraud-prevention services, content-delivery and hosting providers, and providers of embedded content such as maps, videos or social-media posts. Those providers may handle data under their own policies and may process data outside Australia.

6. Technologies across our brands

Technologies on one of our websites generally operate separately from those on our other websites. Where we use the same analytics or advertising accounts across more than one of our websites, information may be combined to help us understand performance across our brands. We handle that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Cookie duration

Session technologies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Duration varies according to purpose and provider. We aim to configure retention no longer than reasonably necessary and will keep any cookie preference interface updated to reflect active technologies.

8. Do Not Track and similar signals

Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not implemented consistently across the industry. We respond to legally recognised preference signals where required and otherwise provide the controls described above.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy when our websites, brands, technologies, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on our website.
